Dear Beloved Hearers and Doers,
The topic is gossip. It is very important to pay attention to the words that come out of your mouth. In one conversation about someone else can be detrimental. It could break the very best relationship that someone could have.
In the words that you are sharing it is important to use the T-H-I-N-K model. Is it True? Is it Helpful? Is it Inspiring? Is it Necessary? Is it Kind?
At the end of the day, did you choose to listen to gossip? Did you take the time to assess the person who is gossiping? Are their words just projection? The first type of projection is displacing ones feelings onto another person. The second type of projection is, defensive projection. This is a person who constantly bullies and ridicules a peer about their insecurities, projecting low self-esteem onto the other person.
When a piece of gossip can hurt someone pass their core and effect them at their roots, it takes a long time for those wounds to heal. When we look internally at our nervous and circulatory system it resembles roots and branches of a tree. When the roots are effected and/ or infected, it can cause a rotting like a tree. Don't let others be a fungi to your roots. A tree should be planted in a location where it can thrive. Certain trees grow and survive in a certain climate. Find your tree stake, that will hold you so tight like a tree tie to support you in your growth.
