Renewing The Mind

Updated: Jun 11, 2022

Dear Beloved, Hearers and Doers,

The topic of discussion is renewing the mind. Our mind is beautiful. It is overloaded with so much communication coming from outside and inside our body. We are exposed to about 4,000 to 10,000 ads a day. Many of those ads are in your peripheral vision, defined as side vision; what is seen on the side by the eye when looking straight ahead. The usual target of these ads are to play on your emotion(s), to reach somewhere to find your shame, so that you will want to buy something to feel better. It is a strategy to infiltrate the mind. To get a hold on this, we must find a peace of mind. Romans 8:5-6: “For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.”

For renewing the mind, there has to be a willingness. First a willingness to receive and accept your blessing. To have a willingness to stop suffering and be done. A willingness to commit to your blessing. The willingness to learn how to handle yours and be responsible with your blessing.

1 Chronicles 28:9 “As for you, my son Solomon, know YAH of your father, and serve Him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind; for the Lord searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever.”

To be faithful in commitment. To hold those commitments close your heart. The commitment to the ‘renewal of the covenant’. The commitment to the nation of Yahshar’al. The renewal of the mind is like a person willing to be a “home” for cleansing, each room of the house to have it spotless and organized.

1 Samuel 2:35 “Then I will raise up for Myself a faithful priest who shall do all according to what is in My heart and in My mind. I will build him a sure house, and he shall walk before My anointed forever.”

Job 38:36 “Who has put wisdom in the mind? Or who has given understanding to the heart?”
