STUDYING THE WORD
Let's Start Here: Who were the BEREANS?

The Bereans were Hebrews from Yahdu, specifically Hellenistic Hebrews, who lived in Berea, a city in ancient Macedonia, known today as the modern city of Veria in northern Greece.
According to Acts 17:10-15, they were receptive to Paul's message and "received the word with all eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily" to verify the truth of his teachings.
As Hellenistic Hebrews, the Bereans were part of the Hebrew Southern Kingdom Diaspora, living outside of Palestine, and were influenced by Greek & Roman culture and language, deeming them 'Gentiles by Influence.'
Despite the cultural differences of the world, they redevoted to their ancestral faith of Yasara’al. Seeking renewal, they recommitted to their traditions and reaffirmed their faith and trust in Yesu, acknowledging Him as the True and Faithful Messiah.
